My 💠Thoughts On President Buhari's 1st Tenure In Office

The leader of my country Nigeria, President Buhari, is a distinct and peculiar man. Personally I'm not a fan of him or his manner of approach in dealing with issues bedevilling my country. During his campaigns prior to the 2015 elections, he as well as his party(the APC) made numerous promises to Nigerians which includes some of the following:
1)He said his administration would make the Naira equal to the dollar.
2)He proclaimed that his administration would initiate a welfare program that would provide unemployed youths With a monthly stipend of 5k and amongst other sugarcoated and fake promises.
So far, he and his administration have failed in fulfilling their promises. Their only rhetoric has been that they are "fighting the corruption that was initiated by past administrations". Do they really think that Nigerians are idiots and fools? It seems some might be especially those from a certain region of the country. The truth is that president buhari doesn't possess the economic, political and academic acumen to rule a civilized, complex and rapidly developing country like Nigeria.
The only reason he is still the presidential aspirant for APC for next year's elections is because of the sycophancy And tribalistic attitude of the people around PMB especially the Yorubas. I would have preferred if his running mate Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was the president and presidential aspirant representing the apc. My president's mind is also beclouded with animosity towards his past enemies from his time in the military and antagonists from the opposing party and this has in some ways prevented him from being impartial and truthful in his actions and words though it seems that he has some form of goodwill towards Nigerians. Let's not also forget that the current apc party is made up of people who defected there from the pdp party before the last elections thereby accurately depicting that ancient proverb that says "a pot calling the kettle black".
In conclusion, I plead with the president and the apc cabal to please allow the current vice president be their presidential flagbearer in next year's elections.(a man who possesses the economic and academic acumen to rule naija successfully).
NB: I'm not a member or supporter of apc or pdp but a loyal patriot of naija.
