The Top Four Most Influential People That Ever Lived

Today's post is one of the most interesting posts I've written in a long time and I hope that you will enjoy reading it but before I continue I would like to empathize with my viewers from the United States of America(who make up my largest audience) concerning the hurricane that's coming to the u.s. I want you all to know that Jesus Christ is in control. Please keep on praying. I will also pray for you.
Today's post is all about the most influential people that ever lived and without wasting anytime let's begin the list. The word influential means  "having the power to cause changes: having influence". Therefore the persons that occur in my list are persons whose ideologies, words, moral lifestyles and practices have amassed the largest following, change different societal norms and traditions, changed cultures, endured persecutions and trials and survived the test of time. They are as follows(in descending order):
1) Jesus Christ: he was a spiritual teacher(who is also the son of God and is God) who preached a gospel of repentance, faith, love and forgiveness. His life and teachings led to the emergency of a new religion-christianity which has become the most dominant religion in the world. The christian religion reveres Jesus Christ as the son of God. Jesus is also an important prophet in Islam, and his doctrines and teachings are widely admired by other religions.
2) St Paul the Apostle: Also known as Saul of Tarsus,  he was born in 4BC in Tarsus in Cilicia(now in Turkey) and died in 62-64AD in Rome, Italy.  He is one of the leaders of the first generation of Christians and often considered to be the most important person after Jesus Christ in the history of Christianity. He wrote 13 of the 27 books of the new Testament and is considered the greatest missionary and apostle that ever lived.
3) Socrates: He was a Greek philosopher and the main source of western thought. He was born in Circa in 470BC in Athens, Greece and died by hemlock poisoning in 399BC. The charge laid against him-corruption of the youth of Athens. He is credited as being the founder of philosophy and his Socratic method has been adopted by intellectuals worldwide.
4) Martin Luther: Anyone who could have successfully challenged the false doctrines of the Catholic Church had to be on this list. He was a passionate reformer who was born in Eisleben(about 120 miles southwest of modern Berlin). He was raised in Mansfeld, where his father worked at the local copper mines. Luther was extraordinary as a monk and it was during his time as a monk that he wrote his 95 theses that challenged several falliable Catholic doctrines which initiated the reformation. He translated the bible into German.  It has been said that most libraries, books by and about Martin Luther occupy more shelves than those concerned with any other figure except Jesus Christ.
This is my list of the most influential people that ever lived. Special mention goes to people like Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Albert Einstein, Leonardo DaVinci and Abraham Lincoln.
NB: I'm a Christian and I believe and know that Jesus Christ is the only way to life and God. These list just represents my theoretical and objective preception of the most influential persons to have graced this world.
